Mena and Missy

Mena Alexandra (born on the 13th of February 1979) is a model and actress in the US. After a brief stint as a model in the fashion industry before moving into acting when she appeared as a guest on TV shows like Boy Meets World in the 1990s as well as High Incident. Her debut on film was the drama Nowhere that was which was released in 1997. Through her roles as a character in American Beauty - for which the actress was nominated to receive a BAFTA Award - and American Pie and American Pie, which earned more attention from the public and recognition, she was able to move into larger roles. In 2000, she starred alongside her American Pie co star Jason Biggs. She then played the lead role for the role of Sugar & Spice (2000). She had appearances in the 2002 acclaimed independent drama Spun and in the 2004 thriller feature Trauma. She appeared in HBO's dramatic series Six Feet Under. In 2004 she received an award for the Outstanding Cast Member at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2008, Suvari was a part in a string of films which included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the adaptation film to The Garden of Eden.
