Mena Alexandra (born on February 13, 1979) is a model and actress from the United States. She began her modeling career in 1990 and soon moved into acting following appearances as a guest on TV shows such as Boy Meets World or High Incident. Her film debut was in 1997's drama Nowhere. After her performance of American Beauty (for which she received an award from the BAFTA Award) and American Pie that attracted more attention, she made her transition into major roles. Since then she appeared as a co-star in Loser (2000) along with her American Pie co-star Jason Biggs and then played the principal character in the comedy film Sugar & Spice (2001). The film also featured her in the 2002 independent drama Spun and the 2004 thriller feature Trauma. The other films she appeared in include HBO's drama Six Feet Under. In 2008, Suvari was part of several films such as Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the film adaptation to The Garden of Eden.
